This Year's Annual Catholic Appeal

Purpose of the Annual Appeal. Since 1976, the Annual Catholic Appeal (commonly referred to simply as the "Annual Appeal") has been a unified effort in which all parishioners are asked to provide critical, financial support to nearly forty diocesan ministries that provide for the spiritual emotional and physical needs of the community. In 2023, this appeal was renamed as the Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal.
This Year's Appeal. This year's appeal theme is "Together in Hope." Reflecting on this theme, our Bishop has a message regarding this year's Annual Appeal.
Where Does the Money from the Appeal Go? Every Appeal gift goes to support diocesan programs and ministries which in turn provide services to the parishes and in collaboration with our parishes. Click here to see what ministries are supported by your generosity to the Annual Appeal.
Benefit to our Parish. Additionally at least 50 percent of contributions received beyond a parish’s assigned target is returned to the parish and used to defray ministry and capital costs. Parishes operating a school receive 100 percent of over-target contributions.
